قوقل تستثمر مليار دولار في Lyft للنقل التشاركي
شركة ألفابت القابضة الأم لشركة قوقل مهتمة بقطاع السيارات ذاتية القيادة بشكل فعلي وهذا يمتد لأكثر من امتلاكها لشركة تعمل في هذا المجال، بل أيضاً الاستثمار فيه حيث أعلنت عن ضخ مليار دولار كاستثمار في شركة النقل التشاركي الأمريكية Lyft.
هذا الاستثمار جاء عن طريق شركة CapitalG التي تعتبر الذراع الاستثماري لشركة ألفابت ما يرفع قيمة شركة Lyft إلى 11 مليار دولار.
كما نعلم تملك شركة ألفابت شركة Waymo لتطوير سيارات ذاتية القيادة وسبق لها التعاون مع Lyft بالعمل معاً على مشروع يتعلق بهذه السيارات.
ستستفيد Lyft من هذا التمويل للحاق بشركة أوبر التي تنافسها ليس فقط بمجال النقل التشاركي بل حتى في مشاريع تطوير سيارة ذاتية القيادة.
الجدير بالذكر أن شركة Lyft أجرت أكثر من 500 مليون رحلة داخل الولايات المتحدة وتغطي سياراتها 95% من عدد السكان مقارنة بتغطية 54 % خلال أقل من سنة.
