فيس بوك تختبر ميزة استعادة الحساب ببصمة الوجه

الميزة اختيارية ويمكن تفعيلها فقط على الهاتف الذي تستخدمه عادة في الدخول إلى حسابك. وتعمل الميزة عبر أخذ 4 لقطات مختلفة للوجه أثناء النظر للكاميرا وبفضل قدرات الذكاء الصنعي لدى فيس بوك فإنها ترسم خريطة للوجه لتأكيد هوية المستخدم.
تضاف هذه الميزة لعدة طرق توفرها فيس بوك لمن يتم إغلاق حسابه لاستعادته مثل التعرف على صور الأصدقاء أو الدخول عبر رمز التحقق بخطوتين.
وتصاحب هذه الميزة مخاطر إمكانية الدخول لحساب المستخدم عنوة عن طريق توجيه كاميرا الهاتف إلى وجه المستخدم. لا نعرف بدقة بعد الآلية التي ستستخدمها فيس بوك لتجنب مثل هذه المواقف، ويبدو أنها ستعمل على كافة الهواتف الذكية التي تحمل كاميرا أمامية ولا تقتصر فقط على آيفون 10 الذي يتعرف على الوجه بحساسات وكاميرات خاصة أكثر من مجرد لقطة للوجه عبر الكاميرا الأمامية.
