US government declares North Korea responsible for WannaCry attacks 2018
The US National Security Adviser, Tom Bossert, told The Wall Street Journal that the US government confirms that North Korea was behind the WannaCry attacks in May.
Bosert said the investigation showed North Korea's involvement in the matter, in line with the results of the investigations conducted by the United Kingdom and Microsoft earlier.
The White House will issue a state-of-the-art press release explaining everything to prove its theory, while some, such as Microsoft, have accused the National Security Agency of being the main cause of the attacks to cover the gaps in Windows for personal use.
